Hello Meadowdale Maverick Community:
Welcome to the 2020-21 school year!! The teachers and support staff of Meadowdale High School are excited to get this year started. The staff of Meadowdale are dedicated to creating the best opportunities for all of our students in a Continuous Learning remote model. Below is some very important information regarding the start of the 2020-21 school year.
Saturday, September 5--Students will be able to access their schedules via Skyward. (Skyward links are below.) Due to the unique and complex nature of this school year there will be very limited schedule changes. Below are the only allowed schedule changes:
-
There is a hole in your schedule (i.e. missing a class first semester).
-
You are a senior and you need the class as a graduation requirement.
-
You previously failed the course with the same teacher.
-
You failed a prerequisite course (for example, math or science) and need to retake the prerequisite course.
-
You haven’t taken a prerequisite course for a class you are now scheduled to take.
Changes will not be made for teacher preference or period/semester preference and we will not be processing any requests for changes to 2nd semester schedules.
Counselors will be available beginning Wednesday, September 9 to work with priority schedule changes. Please do not email your counselor to request a change. We ask that all students submit a schedule change form to address scheduling concerns based on the above mentioned parameters.

Wednesday, September 9--First Day of School--Special Schedule & Material Pickup Generally, Wednesdays will not be a day with set classes, but since it is the first day of school, we will be on a special 6 period day. With this special schedule, students will be able to meet with each of their classes in the morning and will be able to pick up instructional materials in the afternoon.

In addition, Freshmen families should have received a message from our Link Leaders regarding Link Day. Link Day is Meadowdale High School’s version of Freshmen Orientation. The Link program is designed to help freshmen transition from middle school to high school.
Grades 10-12 who are new to the Edmonds School District will need to contact the ESC Tech Dept to make an appointment to pick up their Chromebook.
